Here is a list of Afghan Association of New Zealand Past Officers.

AANZ has posts for two Key Advisors as well as an important Advisory Supreme Council, consisting of influential Afghans and past AANZ leaders.

The name of the Society shall be the Afghan Association of New Zealand Incorporated, hereinafter referred to as the “Association”

AANZ was founded in year 2000 by a group of driven Afghans in somewhat unusual circumstances. An Afghan community member was wrongfully accused of crimes that he did not commit.

The Afghan Association of New Zealand (Inc.) was founded in 2000.  AANZ is the oldest and largest established Afghan organisation that represents the Afghan Diaspora of New Zealand.

Being a newly-elected Executive Committee, we are determined to bring transparency and accountability to AANZ.

Based on our open-door policy, AANZ invites every Afghan of all walks of life to knock on our door and join us.

The current AANZ Executive Committee was elected in April, 2015. Comprised predominantly of young Afghans – most of who studied in New Zealand
